The globular cluster Messier 3 (NGC 5272) in Canes Venatici, from a V-band CCD image obtained with the Lowell Observatory 1.1-meter telescope. This is one of the brightest northern-hemisphere globulars, visible as a cloud in binoculars about 1/3 of the way between Arcturus and Cor Caroli.
